The selected candidate will be responsible for managing the training program and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. This personnel must ensure that the training program is in accordance with the current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) as established in the Code of Federal Regulations and the facilities' procedures. Develop and implement curricula, materials, and related documentation. Designs, establishes and implements the training program for the designated area. Design and develop training modules for areas impacted by the qualification program. Identifies training needs in conjunction with the management and supervisors of the areas to improve employees' performance. Keeps updated the curricula in the Compliance Wire System. Interacts, communicates and provide support to the Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in the area as needed. Provides support to the SME in the qualification process. Interacts with the functional areas in the events' investigation process. Active participation in the change control meetings. Executes training sessions as required in all shifts and during the weekends. Administrates and files the documentation generated from training activities. Performs internal audits in the Manufacturing, Operations and Quality units to ensure compliance with the training programs and assess employees' execution. Prepare training reports for the areas of validation, events and change control. Prepare monthly reports as required. Provide follow up to assigned preventive and corrective actions, and take assertive decisions when performing the job. Maintain good communication (verbal and written) with the training group, peers, and the Manufacturing and service departments' personnel. Supports the Consent Decree Work Plan activities as required. All McNeil employees are required to cultivate an environment of quality and compliance in their actions. A minimum of Bachelor Degree in Psychology, Science, Industrial Engineering, Education or related area is required. Three (3) years of experience in the training area within the pharmaceutical industry is required. Previous knowledge and experience in learning management software application and the creation of training modules for the manufacturing/quality areas is required. Good knowledge in current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) is required. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office software application (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook). Preferred working knowledge in QA/QC systems, manufacturing and packaging process. Must have analytical abilities and knowledge of the Manufacturing, QA and Engineering areas. Must be fluent in Spanish and English (oral and written). Must have good technical writing and strong documentation skills. Presentation development skills in English and Spanish is required. Must have good interpersonal and communication skills. Able to work under minimum supervision. Availability to travel in and outside of Puerto Rico is required. Able to work extra hours and to respond to emergency calls that require returning to the company after regular working hours of the business is required. Must be able to support other departments and/or projects according to business needs. Physical requirements of the position includes; sedentary work that requires minimum physical effort, the ability to move, eye-hand coordination, visual close discrimination, depth perception, accommodation, and visual field/color.
