The Inside Sales Manager will work as an integral part of a cross functional team that will include Marketing, Field Sales, Sales Operations, Customer Service and others. This position will help drive quarterly and annual sales results by supporting and expanding SeraCare’s portfolio of quality control (QC) products within an existing customer base. The call point for SeraCare’s portfolio of products, are busy clinical laboratories located in hospitals and other healthcare facilities. In addition to calling on existing customers, this position may require “cold calling” to gain access to new accounts, assist with periodic market research or to support other project drive requirements.

A Bachelor's Degree is required preferably in a life sciences discipline. A Medical Technologist background is strongly desired. A minimum of 5 years relevant experience in the field of life sciences, ideally with experience in blood products and infectious disease, targeting diagnostic, pharma and clinical labs (blood products, disease state, cellular etc) is required. A minimum of two years experience in Inside Sales is essential for the success of this position. Experience in sales, sales operations or customer service management required. Proven ability to manage business processes that support selling efforts, including quoting and forecasting strongly preferred. Strong verbal and written communications required. Organizational, multi-tasking and computer skills are essential. A flexible schedule with the ability to meet changing deadlines is required. Confidentiality and discretion required. Extended work hours may be necessary in order to meet business demands. Must be able to read, write, speak fluently and comprehend the English language.
