The business analyst will be a key player on Treasury’s top 14 critical projects with focus on the Finance projects and enhancements. Designs, implements and maintains the application-specific blueprints, life-cycle plans, and roadmaps.
Defines detailed functional and technical specifications required to satisfy business requirements for programs, projects, and releases.
Communicates design, functional, and technical specifications to development team.
Provides solution planning and estimating of programs and projects.
Completes tasks, reporting status and work assignments in a timely fashion.
Understands the existing business processes and identify improvement areas. Identify and propose resolution for data issues and reporting gaps.
Leads and coordinates project life cycle activities, including the deliverables for PMO tollgates and developing user acceptance and training plans.
Conducts JAD (Joint application design) sessions and adheres to best practices set by the architecture council.
Ensure compliance to, and participate in enhancing documented IT standards.
Provide leadership to the business in data quality analysis.
Bachelor’s degree (or 4 years equivalent work experience) with 2+ years IT experience.
Finance Systems Application and Development experience; prior experience in designing, programming or coordinating application changes to financial systems.
Experience in generating use cases, test cases, process maps and other typical SDLC life cycle documents.
Experience in handling business intelligence activities and processes.
Strong communication skills.

Working knowledge of General Ledger activities, FX transactions, hedging activities and/or treasury business functions.
Strong cross-functional team player - demonstrates ability to coordinate application changes through a diverse, geographically dispersed team structure, including team members, global development contractors (both onshore and offshore), consultants and vendors.
Strong experience in JAD methodologies.
Experience in Cognos reporting & data analysis experience.
Oracle, SQL, PL/SQL.
