Candidate will apply neuroscience and engineering knowledge to develop and improve technologies to aid in the understanding of the interactions between anesthesia, sleep, pain and memory. Supervision will be exercised over graduate students and trainees in the laboratory of Gina Poe, PhD.
Over time, candidate will have an increasing level of autonomy in the conduct of team and individual research. Candidate will be responsible for writing peer-reviewed article, present research results at national meetings in the field of neuroscience and sleep, and will be responsible for obtaining research support from external organizations, such as the National Science Foundation, and the Institutes of health Required Qualifications*
Ph.D. - with one-two years post doctoral experience, preferably in neuroscience. Additional Information
