SURVICE Engineering is part of a team that will be providing technical services in support of planning, execution, analysis, reporting, system evaluation, and field support for the Test and Continuous Evaluation (CE) of the Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS) at the system level. As part of the mission to support Operational Test and Evaluation, SURVICE has an exciting opportunity for four (4) Entry Level Test Engineers in the Huntsville, AL area.
The Entry Level Test Engineer will support the test and evaluation mission of the Army Test and Evaluation Command (ATEC) for
the Ballistic Missile Defense Programs including test design, planning and integration, test execution, and post-test reporting.
Individual will provide programmatic, technical, analytic and engineering support to the U.S. Army Test and Evaluation Command in planning integrated, comprehensive, operationally representative testing of individual weapon system(s) and the overall BMDS. Individual will be responsible for supporting the management of test design, planning and integration, test execution, and post-test reporting, in accordance with the five phases of the Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS) Test Concept of Operations (CONOPs). Tasks include interfacing with the MDA, test resource managers, component product offices, and other DoD personnel;
coordinating test support resource management, test range support, test reporting events and outputs, executive summaries, review and providing comments on test documentation, tracking of schedules, development of status briefs, support of major test readiness reviews and briefings, periodic status reports, review of post- test reports and other assessments reports, as well as assisting in the resolution of major issues and critical areas.
We are looking for recent college graduates or candidates with less than 2 years of experience. Requires a highly motivated, self starter who works well with other personnel, minimum guidance and on a short timeline. Must have excellent written and oral
communication skills. Travel to support coordination meetings, reviews, and for test execution is required and estimated to be 25%.
The required qualifications for this position include a BS degree in Math, Physics, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with a good academic record. Familiarity with Ballistic Missile Defense Programs is a big plus. Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret level security clearance. US citizenship required.
You must be local or willing to relocate to the Huntsville, AL area. No relocation assistance for this position.
