Are you an experienced web analytics professional? Our enterprise web analytics team is looking for you! Here at T. Rowe Price, our web analytics team is responsible for the collection, configuration, distribution and analysis of website information for more than 20 applications across a broad spectrum of B2B, B2C, and B2E, internal, and external site types.

Experience working with web data and web analytics oriented tools is a must. Like most companies, we are continually evolving our analysis efforts to include data from many channels and systems. However, web analytics subject matter expertise is critical to the work being performed. Supporting more than 20 sites, there is much to do so we can plug you in where your skills and career desires fit!

World Class level expertise is expected from the candidate in at least one of the following disciplines:

Data Collection: Work with our IT Project teams to enable and update data collection on our websites. Understanding page tag concepts, application logging basics and HTTP headers information will be needed in this area.

Configuration of Databases: Take what you learn via requirements sessions with our customers and translate it into information our software DBA*s can use to configure our web analytics databases. General understanding of database design, querying principles, and of course web analytics data structures will be put to use here.

Distribute Reports: Establishing strong relationships with our customers to identify recurring report and analysis structures to assist in the evolutions of our business is a key piece of our web analytics lifecycle services. Performing data validation exercises, building data visualizations, and working in spreadsheets and statistical models are activities required during our publishing and distribution cycles.

Analyze Data and Identify Actionable Insights: The candidate will rely on the ability to investigate large data stores for findings oriented around web visitors, visits, success events, customer experience, and content purpose. The candidate should be able to rely on experience in developing methods to quantify visitor value, score and index traffic quality, and present this information to various audiences in a consumable manner. Strong relationship building skills are again in play here.



4-6 years Experience in Business Data Collection and Analysis that includes:

Web Analysis Experience

Web Analytics Application Experience

Advanced Excel Skills (e.g., macros & VBA)

Page Tag Concepts

MS Office


Omniture Insights (previously Visual Sciences)

Database Architecture in Web Environment

Business Intelligence Experience

Understanding of Network Traffic flows
