Ultrasound Lead Sonographer & Experienced Sonographer (Tri County: Dade/ Browad / Palm Beach)
As Lead Sonographer and Trainer, your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: (1) support Onsite Imaging in training its new sonographers; (2) determine their relative level of knowledge on the clinical level; (3) train them on Onsite Imaging's Clinical Protocols; (4) assist in the preparation of Onsite Imaging'sonboarding manual and guidelines to better evaluate current ultrasound technicians on staff; and (5) perform managerial functions assigned to you by Onsite Imaging.
Responsible for training new hire sonographers
Must provide progress reports on new hire's and sonographers
Responsible for all training with current sonographers and keep them up to date on industry standards
Research CEU's opportunities for sonographers on staff
Maintain company up to date on Clinical Protocols
Conduct weekly sonographer staff meetings
Communicate with Medical Director/Radiologist regarding HOLDS and clinical questions that arise from a Doctor's office pertaining to any of the sonographer team members.
Keeping up to date with the health industry standards
Understand that you will be sent to any account when needed -- flexibility is a must
Represent Onsite Imaging and its clients with professionalism and excellent patient care (see best practices)
Perform any other duties as directed by upper management
Accurately and timely record and verify all hours worked on behalf of Onsite Imaging
Highly motivated individual with 5-10 years experience in the ultrasound sonography field with ARDMS, RVT , ARRT etc. preferred. Must be able to shift priorities at a moment's notice to accommodate client and company needs. Must be organized and able to balance on a daily basis administrative work and field work.
