We are currently seeking a Business Development Executive for our Bay Area practice. This position has responsibility for our San Francisco and Silicon Valley offices. The Business Development Executive is responsible for driving and increasing sales and accompanying revenue by focusing on select pursuits.

Responsibilities:
Understanding and willingness to adopt and promote, the firm’s selling methodology
Achieve specified annual sales goals
Increase the actual number of new business wins
Increase the win percentage of proposed work
Support assigned industry groups
Develop and manage a personal pipeline
Properly document wins and provide appropriate assistance with the commission approval process
Adhere to firm expense guidelines
Work in close conjunction with local and group marketing resources

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Business required. Graduate degree and/or professional certification preferred
Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales, selling, or marketing role
Demonstrated success in selling professional or business-to-business services
Demonstrated competencies in all aspects of sales and sales management
Strong C-suite and professional presence
Understands the business issues associated with accounting and/or professional services, and the applicability to client issues
Knowledgeable about partnerships and partnership operations
Familiar with Moss Adams
Capable of working with a variety of internal and external people and styles in a respectful collaborative manner. Position requires continuous poise, tact, diplomacy, and good judgment
Able to define and communicate the Moss Adams value proposition
Strong verbal communication skills
Establishes and cultivates long-term effective relationships with key client service professionals, peers, and marketing and sales team
Works efficiently with minimal supervision
Strong personal organizational abilities and follow-up skills
Ability to appropriately assemble strategic pursuit teams
Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Explorer) as well as SharePoint and CRM software
Driver’s license, applicable insurance and ability to travel to multiple prospect locations throughout the day
Ability to conduct business during non-standard business hours
Frequent travel, including long hours in a vehicle or airplane
