Moog, Salt Lake City Aircraft Group is searching for a System Development Engineer. As a System Development Engineer, you will work within the development portion of the product life cycle for flight control actuation systems for the Commercial Aircraft Sector. Systems of interest include electronics, software, mechanical, hydraulic, and electro-mechanical elements. Typical flight control actuation system work involves design and verification tasks inclusive of: requirements development, simulation and analysis, detailed design, test equipment design and build, integration activity, formal test and report writing. You will be supporting product development for various vehicles from small business jets to large body commercial airliners.

Job Location: Based in Salt Lake City, UT
Work Hours: 40-50 hours per week, primarily on first shift, some shift work may be required.
Travel: Typical Need of 2-5 domestic and/or international trips per year. Possibility for temporary short term domestic and/or international assignments.
To perform this position you'll need:
Master's degree preferred or a Bachelor's degree with demonstrated technical abilities in Mechanical Engineering and a minimum GPA of 3.3. This is an entry level position; previous co-op or internship experience is a plus.
