The primary responsibilities of the Customer Access Associate position, for the UK HealthCare Patient Access Call Center, include: perform call center activities related to Patient Access consisting of scheduling new and returning patient appointments; complex advanced booking; registration; intake (pre-clearance and insurance); verifying insurance enrollment and eligibility; and handling escalation of patient access problems. In addition, this position will be responsible for covering absences within the Ambulatory/KY Clinic and Hospital-Based clinics as needed.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service, problem solving and time management skills; the ability to communicate with patients, families and employees in a respectful manner; and the ability to cooperate with fellow team members and co-workers.

Preferred Education / Experience
Prefer Cosmocom agent experience, scheduling and registration experience in an outpatient clinic.
