Primary Job Responsibilities:
1. Oversee daily operations of the accounting department and accounting functions.
2. Direct and coordinate the accounts payable function
3. Direct and coordinate the accounts receivable function
4. Direct and coordinate the inventory control function
5. Direct and coordinate the payroll processing function
6. Direct and coordinate the IT function
7. Maintain protect and store all company financial information
8. Conduct and negotiate credit collections if required
9. Communicate with bank, prepare all required banking reports and direct annual bank audits
10. Evaluate, monitor and maintain risk management functions
11. Conduct daily, monthly, quarterly, annual audits of financial information and transactions
12. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulatory agencies.
13. Analysis and Prepare monthly financial statements
14. Analysis and Prepare annual operating budgets
15. Analysis and Prepare financial forecast
16. Direct financial audits and provide recommendations for procedural improvements
17. Analysis and audit customer pricing models
18. Develop new pricing models as required
19. Invoice customers monthly
20. Develop ad hoc reports used to develop short and long term business decisions
21. Evaluate new business proposals
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
1. Knowledge of finance, accounting, cash management, budgeting, forecasting, inventory, costing, cost control, GAAP, risk management insurance and employee benefits
2. Knowledge of automated financial and accounting software
3. Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections
4. Ability to work well and communicate with customer, associates, staff and operational managers and meet deadlines
5. Ability to develop Ad hoc reports and spreadsheets
6. QuickBooks Pro, R4 wms
