Description : The Patient Service Representative II oversees and verifies the financial processes associated with the patient services provided by the division. Performs all duties of Patient Service Representative I, obtains patient registration information from initial telephone contact, greets patients in the practice and manages patient data.
Qualifications : Knowledge normally acquired through completion of two year Medical Office Management program or equivalent experience in a physician's medical office practice. Demonstrated knowledge and skills necessary to provide care to patients throughout the life span, with consideration of aging processes, human development stages, and cultural patterns in each step of the care process. Two years experience in a physician's medical office practice. Proficient in English language and computer appointment scheduling skills; SMS and eClinicalWorks (eCW) experience preferred. Familiarity with medical office procedures and medical terminology. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
