The NGS Claims Processor III in our Part B - ORU/MSP department is responsible for the review, examination and resolution of complex Medicare claims relating to all lines of business. Selected individuals must be able to successfully perform all the duties of the NGS Claims Processor II. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: Reviews, investigates, evaluates and processes Medicare claims or related events to determine extent of companys liability and entitlement. Processes Medicare claims of all levels of difficulty including claims of high complexity, adjusts, voids and reopens claims on-line within guidelines to ensure proper adjudication. Responds to inquiries and serves as a source of information. They may have customer/client contact. Fully proficient in all key areas; performs many complex functions.
Selected candidate will have a High School Diploma or GED; 3-5 years of Medicare claims processing experience being proficient in multiple claims processing software (FISS, MCS, etc.), or Healthcare Insurance claims processing experience ; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
