DESCRIPTION

BPR Properties is seeking Room Attendants for an exciting opportunity in Santa Cruz. BPR Properties is a family run hotel ownership and management company with a variety of branded and independent hotels in Northern California. We are in the process of renovating - a 170-room, full service hotel in Santa Cruz, slated to open in Summer, 2012 as the Hotel Paradox, an upscale boutique hotel. The hotel will feature well-appointed, chic -guest rooms, the largest meeting space in Santa Cruz and an exciting F&B concept that will include a vibrant new pool scene.

This position will be responsible for all aspects of the housekeeping of guest rooms including maximization of hotel cleanliness & guest satisfaction, within the duties of thier job description with the established quality standards.

We are creating a unique new experience in Santa Cruz, come help us define the new paradox.

DUTIES

1.Meet and exceed guest and team member expectations by providing Legendary Service and team work.
2.Report to work on time and in complete uniform, including name tag, as prescribed by your Supervisor.
3.Change all linen in check out rooms and in stay over rooms as indicated by guests.
4.Clean bathrooms, replace all used supplies and amenities as directed.
5.Dust and vacuum all assigned rooms.
6.Load Housekeeping carts to standards set by Executive Housekeeper, and maintain in a clean and orderly condition.
7.Report any maintenance problems found in assigned guestrooms to the room care specialist.
8.Maintain linen and storage rooms in an orderly condition.
9.Present a neat and hospitable image at all times to guests and co-workers.
10.Be continually alert for the safety of all employees and guests, reporting any unsafe conditions to your immediate supervisor.
11.At all times project a favorable image of the hotel to the public.
12.Follow hotel grooming and dress standards, minimize safety hazards by following all safety rules and procedures.
13.Keep your Manager promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance.
14.Perform all duties and responsibilities asked of you in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established company policies and procedures to achieve the overall objectives of this position.
15.Perform any other job duties as requested Supervisor, GM, Planning Committee Member, or the Manager on Duty.

QUALIFICATIONS

equivalent education and/or experience will be considered. Previous experience with hotels is preferred. Bilingual English-Spanish abilities a plus. Start-up experience is s plus.
