Job Summary :

Provide oversight, direction and leadership for the people strategies and plans across SWN to enhance the effectiveness of teams and the success of the organization. Ensure that HR solutions deliver value as determined by the various stakeholder groups.

Act as strategic coach to senior leaders, and provide solutions for clients utilizing and leveraging the other HR functional areas of workforce planning & analytics and employee experience.

Provide direction and leadership to direct reports and HR team.

Primary Accountabilities:

  • Consult with business leaders and managers regarding performance and talent management programs required to meet business results.
  • Translate business strategy into effective HR plan and results.
  • Maintain knowledge of industry trends and practices to ensure proper benchmarking for best in class programs
  • Evaluate people analytics and metrics, diagnose root causes and recommend solutions for people related trends and issues among teams
  • Measure and track performance to demonstrate where HR investments delivered the intended value
  • Ensure performance and talent management programs and plans impact organizational performance and effectiveness
  • Assess, develop and drive strong performance of direct reports and HR team.
  • Positively impact business results by partnering with the other HR teams regarding strategies and initiatives in the areas of planning & analysis, recruitment & selection, reward & recognition and workplace environment.
  • Provide appropriate direction for employee relations issues and concerns, engaging legal counsel as necessary.
  • Consult with senior managers on organizational design and effectiveness initiatives and ensure successful execution of plans
  • Represent employee interests when considering implications of organizational change
  • Direct and oversee targeted and SWN-wide development programs to ensure that gaps in capability within teams, and across SWN, are addressed. Programs include new hire on-boarding through leadership development.
  • Qualifications
    • HR management experience leading a team of HR professionals within a high performance, consultative culture;
    • Experience in organizational effectiveness and development, leadership development and overall talent management
    • Successful track record in building HR programs and initiatives to deliver value to clients
    • Demonstrable and successful experience of influencing senior managers and HR leadership teams
    • Strong business acumen, knowledge of E&P a plus
    • Seasoned breadth & depth of Human Resources exposure, unlikely to have less than 10 years’ postgraduate experience
    • Confident leadership skills to deliver new initiatives and influence the behavior of others
    • Analytical and organization skills to operate in complex, multi-discipline organization effectively and with little direct support
    • Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field
