Currently University Store hours are from 7:30am to 5:00pm and shifts may rotate. Bookstore hours of operation may change and work times will be adjusted accordingly.
This position will require some travel.
Purchase electronic merchandise for resale. Reconcile receiving, invoicing and returns of merchandise received. Maintain computerized inventory files. Supervise and train support personnel in areas of responsibility. Market and plan for growth in areas of responsibility.
Bachelor Degree and one year of work experience in retail, purchasing and/or customer service or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and/or written communication skills.
Valid Driver's License with a motor vehicle record that is compliant with the University Vehicle Use Policy Found at:
Knowledge of technology products, demonstrated retail sales experience with a focus on managing customer relationships.
Provide oversight of the Electronics Department including Apple Authorized Campus Store under the supervision of the University Store Assistant
Knowledge of computerized inventory system or WinPrism. Demonstrated experience with buying and purchasing. Previous experience supervising others. Attention to detail and the ability to multi-task will be needed for this position.
