Summary:
The New York based client service team is in search of a Client Relations Associate to join their servicing effort. The candidate will report to the Director/Manager of Client Relations, but will provide support to an advisor. The Institutional team focuses on delivering the full scope of the firm’s investment services to private, public and Taft-Hartley pension plans; foundations and endowments; and insurance companies. The client service associate plays a key role in the fulfilling the servicing needs of these clients. Responsibilities:
Opening/closing accounts
Handling cash flows
Client reporting/due diligence
Preparation of marketing presentations
General troubleshooting in response to client inquiries
Interact extensively with senior investment professionals throughout the firm
Act as a liaison with various departments, including portfolio management, legal and operations
Maintaining client relationships and fulfilling various requests
Interact with prospective clients
Maintain client management database and provide office support to advisors
Assist with departmental projects and initiatives as needed Requirements:
1-2 years of experience in a professional capacity
Industry experience is preferred but not required
Very strong communication and analytical skills
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Demonstrate initiative and good judgment coupled with the ability to work well under pressure
Work well independently and within a team
