CTG is recruiting four POS Developers for openings with our client located in Bentonville, AR. These positions are for long term W2 contract assignments of up 12 months+. Local candidates are preferred by client but those that are willing to relocate are welcome to apply.

Bentonville, AR (NWA) – candidates need to work onsite (sorry, no telecommuting option).

Job Responsibilities for POS Developers:
The primary job responsibility for the POS Developers will be to provide production support for an existing application. The selected developers will use their technical skills in C, UNIX, shell scripting, and POS experience to work in a busy, time sensitive project within a global model. This is a 24 x 7 environment so flexibility to work in shifts is required.

Qualifications

Required Skills/Experience for POS Developers:
  • C development background in a UNIX environment – 4+ years
  • Shell scripting experience – 4+ years
  • Excellent analysis skills
Desired Skills/Experience for POS Developers:
  • IBM 4690 experience
  • Prior POS experience
  • C++, C Basic, and Java are also highly desired
