The Business Analyst for the Analytics at the Edge team within the Tiger Institute ensures benefits and ultimately, return of investment of projects is attained. The Business Analyst works with the Tiger Institute Project Manager and client providers and support staff to clearly define, at a project onset, the benefits of a project. The Business Analyst collects baseline information and evaluates at project completion whether goals were attained. This position requires a critical thinker, self-starter, innovative associate who identifies opportunities for process improvements, provides analysis, proposes change strategies, and communicates proposed strategies. The Business Analyst facilitates the implementation and measures the success of process changes. The Business Analyst will prepare reports throughout the benefits process on specific projects and on the sum of all projects. The Business Analyst will support the development of repeatable processes and templates to make the benefits assessment process scalable.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Possess decision making skills as well as the ability to deal with ambiguity
- Strong analytic, data analysis and problem solving abilities
- Demonstrates the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize work to meet adapting deadlines and attention to detail
- Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work overtime and irregular hours when needed
- Willing to relocate to Columbia, MO
