The cross-channel personalization and customer mobile specialist works with teams from across our business units and Technology organization to define a vision for customer mobile in stores and across channels at Nordstrom, test specific approaches to improving the customer experience, and implement long-term solutions that enable the most beneficial features.


Contribute thought leadership on how the Nordstrom customer store and cross-channel experience can be improved leveraging customers’ mobile devices and related technologies

Participate in formulating a vision and roadmap for customer mobile capabilities in and around Nordstrom stores, with special emphasis on cross-channel aspects of the experience

Collaborate with team members, representatives from various business units, and technology partners to identify customer mobile opportunities and define tests to prove out the most promising ideas

Collaborate on conducting tests, as prioritized by the Personalization and Customer Mobile program

Collaborate with analysts and other resources to gather results from the various tests and report results to leadership

Participate in formulating high level business requirements for projects to implement the most promising capabilities, as prioritized by the Personalization and Customer Mobile program

Help drive business requirements and represent the business through the product lifecycle

Provide expertise on how to implement change in Nordstrom stores

Collaborate with other teams to implement customer mobile capabilities in and around Nordstrom stores


Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience

Minimum 5 years experience in a retail, with a deep understanding of fashion retail in a store setting

Deep understanding of consumer mobile technology and how customers use mobile devices

Analytical and problem solving abilities. Experience capturing test data and interpreting results is desired

Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and with cross organizational teams

Clear and effective written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively

Proficiency in MS Office suite
