The Strategy Manager position is a dynamic role that drives the development of IT strategies that are aligned with corporate and business unit objectives. This includes leveraging internal and external information and applying critical thinking to provide recommendations, developing achievable plans, working across multiple business units and geographies to garner support and drive strategic initiatives forward, and working with all levels of leadership to develop and deliver strategic communications. Develops and maintains professional relationships with executive management and stakeholders. Creates communication plans which determine communication level, frequency, detail and distribution of status updates; and minimize impact of changes (i.e., schedule, costs).
3 to 5 years of experience in strategic planning with a focus in technology
Demonstrated capability in developing and communicating logical, convincing reasons, including lessons learned, to build support for one’s viewpoints and actions.
Strong communication skills both verbal and written
Ability to present complex ideas and drive understanding and consensus around topics
Ability to facilitate executive level workshops
Strong business acumen and understanding of financial statements and metrics
Demonstrated execution of multiple large projects or a program with minimal guidance by managing objectives, deliverables, and key milestones and ensuring projects deliver substantive results
Demonstrated creativity and strength in the face of change, obstacles, or adversity
Demonstrated adaptability and sense of urgency that motivate others to complete responsibilities and achieve goals.
Maintains an environment that promotes and reinforces the highest standards of integrity and ethics
Development of external relationships and partnerships to strengthen the reputation of the company
Ability to builds trusting, collaborative relationships and alliances with others, inside and outside of the organization
Additional Preferred Qualifications
Advanced degree – MBA or MIS
Ability to work with highly sensitive/confidential information
Experience working across Divisions or Global business units
