Our client is an EPCI provider of floating production solutions for the deepwater oil and gas industry The company's clients are mainly private and government owned offshore oil and gas producing companies.Currently our client is seeking contract PDMS Piping Designers for 12 plus mos contractThe primary function of this position is to produce and check designs, drawings, and materials lists in support of the engineering activities.The Designer will actively coordinate with other engineers and designers to efficiently produce a high quality product within the project budget.The Designer applies design fundamentals; selects and recommends procedures in design and prepares designs for the Engineer's approval.The Designer works without detailed instruction in support of the Engineer and may coordinate drafting efforts on projects.Senior Designer/Checker reviews and checks drawings in order to assure conformance with all requirements.The Designer will identify and assist in resolving any of the clashes within their discipline and between disciplines.Designers/Checkers will ensure that the objects show on the drawings are to scale.Requirements:
Sr. PDMS Piping Designer 7 plus years designer experience, particularly in the marine and drilling rig sector. Strong Auto Cad & 3D PDMS design experience is required.
