The Software Engineer in Test will be a key member of a world-class engineering team that develops cutting edge security products to protect our clients from Internet intrusions. You will utilize your skills in white and black box testing in a multi-platform environment using cutting-edge protection and network testing technologies. You will work with developers, system administrators, nationally recognized security analysts, and product management to ensure that we deliver high quality products that meet or exceed industry test standards. This is a challenging and rewarding position, as we are constantly evolving our capabilities in order to protect our clients from Internet intrusions. We are looking for outstanding Soft Engineers in Test driven to help our team develop industry leading security products. The ideal candidate will have strong technical, analytical and communication skills, and the mindset to apply these skills in testing our applications.

Requirement overview:
- Undergraduate degree and 6 to 8 years relevant experience, or Graduate degree and 4-6 years relevant experience
- Design and write test plans and test cases based on software requirements
- Interface with key stakeholders in Product Management, Operations and Development to ensure completion of software projects on time and budget
- Diagram and document systems and processes
- Proficiency with tools related to security, functional and performance testing
- Implement and maintain tools for test automation
- Provide support for and participate in software staging in lab environments
- Participate in the Dell SecureWorks SDLC by taking a proactive role in evaluating the quality of the software and our processes
Desirable skills /experience:
- Strong background in UNIX/Linux command line usage
- Testing and Debugging experience in a UNIX environment
- Programming / Script Writing experience
- Test Automation experience
- Agile SDLC Methodology experience

- Should have good command of written and spoken English
Certifications and qualifications desirable for this role:
- Must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or related discipline, or equivalent work experience
