Provide therapeutic treatment to patients. Create and maintain a 5-star service environment. Comply with organization, department and regulatory standards. Conduct intake assessments. Implement therapeutic treatment plans. Perform pre-certification functions. Maintain patient records. Develop discharge plans for patients. Perform all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in a human services related field.
Experience / Skills:
None required
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Proficiency in the elements of basic counseling, interviewing, group leadership, crisis intervention and mental status examination.
Basic working knowledge of applicable state and federal laws regarding the rights of psychiatric patients.
Good organizational skills, teaching skills, and the ability to work in a collaborative manner with the treatment team.
Certifications / Licenses:
Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers-CPR certification required.
Psychiatric Technician License preferred.
