JOB DESCRIPTION:
Ideal Health IT is seeking a highly motivated Account Representative with experience in staffing sales and/or consulting sales to drive new business in prospective client accounts. The role will involve selling professional service solutions (including managed consulting projects, staff augmentation and direct-hire placements) to hospitals, health systems and large medical groups or affiliations. Experience selling to these client types would be very beneficial. Candidates with existing client relationships in target accounts or a book of business are strongly preferred.
The successful candidate will be responsible for all sales activities, from lead generation through close in a large, defined territory. This will include developing and implementing a sales plan designed to achieve revenue/profit goals and customer satisfaction in line with company vision and values. This position will require continuous development of sales leads through cold calling, email campaigns, networking, referrals, etc. Where opportunities exist, you will be responsible for working closely with key contacts at prospective client accounts in order to understand the client's needs and to identify potential sales opportunities. You will manage the end-to-end sales process for transactional staffing sales or will work closely with our Consulting team to develop larger strategic opportunities. You will also work very closely with our Recruitment team to ensure that we identify, qualify and present contract consultants and placement candidates with the skills, background and experienced to fully meet the client's needs.
This job is a great opportunity for those who seek a rewarding career. The position may be based either at our San Diego headquarters or remotely (telecommuter) for candidates outside of the San Diego area. It is primarily considered to be inside sales but the successful candidate may have the opportunity to participate in local events, conferences and tradeshows. The position is classified as "Regular, Full-Time" employment (W-2). It offers a base salary plus a lucrative incentive compensation package for meeting or exceeding established sales targets. There is no cap on incentive compensation!
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
REQUIRED...
3+ years staffing sales or recruitment industry experience
Demonstrated competency in conducting telephone-based sales, preferably involving technology-related professional services
Proven ability to meet or exceed quota
Complete understanding of pricing and proposal models
Ability to comfortably speak with prospective clients at all levels of an organization
Commitment to excellent client service, integrity, professionalism, a team-oriented approach and a flexible "can do" attitude
Experience in a fast-paced environment with the ability to prioritize tasks and follow through on commitments
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Results-oriented with an attention to detail
Exceptional communication, grammar and interpersonal skills
Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office 2007+ (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint), Microsoft Windows XP+, and CRM applications
PREFERRED...
Experience selling to IT and clinical managers in hospitals, health systems and large medical groups or affiliations
Understanding of clinical system software (e.g., EHR/EMR, PACS/RIS, CPOE, etc. from a mainstream vendor such as Epic, Cerner, MEDITECH, Siemens)
Experience with high-volume marketing programs and campaigns
College degree
