This is a full time, 40 hours per week position. Qualified applicants must be available to work Friday (1-9:30pm), Saturday & Monday, Sunday (11:00am-7:30pm) and open availability desired.
Reporting directly to the Store Manager, you will play a critical role in providing excellent customer service, generating sales and ensuring a professional, clean and organized Super Supplements store.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.
Provide outstanding customer service to all individuals visiting the store
Demonstrate effective sales skills
Assist with keeping the store clean and its appearance at the highest quality
Maintain a positive attitude and enjoy working with the general public
Perform essential functions of the Point of Sales (POS) system and is able to handle cash accurately
Perform essential functions of maintaining accurate inventory
Keep merchandise neat and orderly. i.e. facing & stocking of product from backstock, understock, etc.
Maintain a clean work environment. i.e. cleaning store-front, register areas, break-room, bathrooms, dusting shelves, vacuuming, & picking up parking areas as needed
Effectively order inventory on an ongoing basis as instructed by the store manager (This is a privilege that is delegated by store manager to experienced employees)
Some employees are required to perform open and close duties
Complete other duties as assigned
Ability to work well with people, provide excellent customer service and follow directions
High energy, dynamic personality, patient and responsible
An interest in, and passion for supplements, nutrition or related health field, commitment to Super Supplements; represent SS in the best possible way to the public
Attention to detail and ability to effectively multitask
Reliable and self-motivated and has demonstrated personal and business integrity
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Able to stand and be energetic for long periods of time
Basic PC skills. i.e Word, Excel, POS., etc.
Able to lift heavy objects (50 lbs.)
Minimum of 18 years of age
Think clearly and perform under stress
Education and/or Experience:
1+ years fast-paced customer service experience required - retail experience highly desired
Product knowledge of the supplements industry and Super Supplements’ products is a plus
