This role partners with business marketing to plan and execute product/market-level marketing programs, communications campaigns and events to achieve defined performance and sales objectives. Brings executional oversight, expertise and direction to each marketing program/communications effort. Provides added value by delivering: subject matter thought leadership, strategic and executional excellence, consistent and streamlined processes, and improved efficiency and cost savings. Key emphasis on flawless execution of tactical promotions/communications/publicity - whether in print, interactive or events - from creative development through implementation and analysis/reporting.
Required (Basic) Experience & Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or other related field, or 8+ years marketing communications management experience in lieu of degree.
4+ years experience planning & implementing integrated marketing communications and sales promotion projects.
Required Competencies & Other Skills:
Proven experience and expertise in integrated communications planning and execution across the full range of vehicles and media. Innovative, strategic thinker with strong service orientation and proven ability to build strong relationships with business partners, instilling respect and trust. Excellent communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills. Proactive and results-driven, with strong project management and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and effectively with agency partners and internal marketing team/cross-functional teams. Flexible and able to handle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously with keen attention to detail. Budget and performance tracking experience, with ability to report, analyze and recommend course corrections. Strong appetite for learning and fast learning curve. Public speaking and presentation skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of applications.
Preferred Experience & Education:
Experience or background in [specific industry] a strong plus. Experience marketing through [specific] channels preferred. Previous agency experience preferred.
Preferred Competencies & Other Skills:
Demonstrated ability to drive incremental sales volume through integrated marketing communications campaigns/initiatives, including interactive marketing.
