Intern-Events Coordinator




Intern position.

Diversity Staffing manages on-site hiring events throughout the year at various Intel locations and also participates in annual National Conferences (SWE, SHPE, NSBE, etc). These events are focused on connecting Hiring Managers with qualified diverse candidates and help Business Groups meet their hiring goals.

As a Diversity Intern-Events Coordinator you will work closely with Diversity Staffing PMs to coordinate event logistics and manage candidates (potential hires). Responsibilities include:

Logistics management: Book interview rooms/event locations, work with AMEX for hotel booking, organize networking events, place food orders, etc.

Candidate management: Lead the candidate management process, coordinate candidate invitations to events, track candidates' offer acceptance, work with AMEX to secure candidates travel, and create candidate interview packets/schedules. After interviews are completed disposition candidates in Taleo (HR system).

Participants coordination: Work closely with Hiring Managers to prepare interview packets and schedule outlook calendar hits for their hiring team.


Required Skills:
Strong verbal & written communication.

Experience with the conf room reservation tool.

Experience with Excel spreadsheets.

Flexible schedule & ability to travel (2 days a week every 2 weeks) or as business needs requires

Able to multitask & work under pressure.

Additional Info:
Nice to have skills: Familiarity with HR systems (Taleo, Geni, Offer Tool).
