Position: Master Scheduler
Duties and Responsibilities:
Attend weekly status meetings to evaluate aging WIP, MRB, QC hold queue
Attend weekly Contract Review meetings to evaluate and schedule new orders
Attend monthly SIOP meetings
Work with Customer Service and Production to build robust processes to manage customer past dues and on-time-delivery in accordance with customer requirements and internal metrics
Liaise with functional areas within the supply chain to remove obstacles in order to achieve internal goals and objectives
Create and maintain ABC classifications
Evaluate ongoing planning parameters and supply strategies to ensure operational excellence
Ensure solid understanding of capacity/load and adjust accordingly
Coordinate with the Forecasting team to validate supply-chain strategies and planning parameters
Expedite orders and ensure delivery schedules are met
Establish reorder points, min/max inventory levels, and ABC order policy
Evaluate, reschedule and open orders as required based on system recommendations
Verify details and purchased parts are on schedule as required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Extensive system program, CRP and/or ERP systems knowledge is mandatory
An in-depth understanding of product flows and the working relationships of many departments.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor degree in Materials Management or equivalent
Minimum 5 years in planning/scheduling in ERP system environment
