Description
The Department Director is a professional associate who maintains the management function for one or more departments. The Department Director reports to the organization CNO. The Department Director manages the day-to-day function of his/her department and maintains 24-hour accountability for its function, productivity and quality. The Department Director initiates and ensures the maintenance of performance improvement, departmental customer satisfaction and staff competency, physician and staff satisfaction.
Qualifications
BSN with current RN licensure and minimum of 5 years current critical care nursing management/supervisory experience.
