The Property Warehouse Manager will be responsible for overall management of daily tasks associated with contractor operation of a Department of Defense (DoD), government property warehouse in a bargaining unit environment. The successful candidate will be in charge of managing a workforce of 3 IAM&AW employees to ensure that incoming and outgoing material requirements from a broad customer base are prioritized and supported in a manner that supports the Operations department schedules and needs, as well as DoD schedules for weapon system shipments and receipts, as well as receipt, storage and issue of Government Owned Material in compliance with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR). Material cycle counting, coordination of warehouse layout with the Property Compliance Manager, constant monitoring of safety issues, development, monitoring and reporting of warehouse performance metrics, and determination of overtime needs will also be required.

Required Skills:

Minimum 3 years experience in managing a task intensive warehouse
·
Self-starting work ethic to identify issues and implement FAR compliant changes with limited management oversight
·
Fluent in Microsoft Word and Excel, with the ability to generate and review reports relating to Property issues to management personnel
·
Familiarity with the use of Access Database programs
·
Efficiency in typing and data entry, proofing and correction
·
Ability communicate clearly and effectively with all levels of personnel
·
Ability to work in a high pressure environment which is highly data driven and audit intensive.
·
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks to ensure that customer satisfaction, compliance and efficiency are maintained.

Ability to perform in a detail oriented environment where data accuracy is critical
Desired Skills:
·


Thorough understanding of the FAR as it relates to Property Management
·
Familiarity with management of United States Government / Department of Defense programs, especially in the area of Property Management.
·
Familiarity with current property management technology, in terms of both hardware tracking and database management
·
Familiarity with industry Property Management best practices.
·
Familiarity with Phalanx, Rolling Airframe Missile Launcher and Land-Based Phalanx Weapon Systems, as well as exposure to Foreign Military Sales (FMS) programs.

Experience with management of bargaining unit employees
Key Responsibilities (Essential Functions):
·


Workload direction of bargaining unit personnel to ensure accurate and timely response to both internal and external customer requirements
·
Prioritization of warehouse requests (both incoming and outgoing material) to ensure timely and compliant response to all requests
·
Support of system shipments and receipts.
·
POC for In-Service Engineering Agent requests
·
Continual evaluation of warehouse operation/layout to identify both physical and process opportunities for improvement
·
Metrics development, maintenance and review to ensure warehouse is operating at maximum accuracy and efficiency levels.
·
Continual interface with Property Compliance Manager to ensure both existing processes and proposed enhancements are compliant with the requirements of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).
·
Continual interface with the Property Database Manager for routine cycle counting and resulting discrepancy resolution
·
Prioritization of warehouse tasks
·
Interface with Operations personnel to stay abreast of upcoming schedule and delivery issues impacting Property Department workload.
·
Support of hourly personnel on off cycle Fridays and weekends. Some overtime may be required.
Minimum Degree:
·


Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (direct Property Management experience may substitute for educational requirement)
·
Minimum 3 years of warehouse management experience
