Provides clerical and secretarial support for Medical Staff Services. This includes but is not limited to answering the department's primary phone, assisting customers, directing calls, taking minutes for Medical Staff department meetings, and entering the physician on-call schedule. |
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, critical thinking and customer service skills required. Knowledge of office equipment and Microsoft computer software products are a must. Typing 55 wpm preferred.
Sitting, standing, lifting 5-15 lbs, walking short distances, and use of verbal, auditory, and visual skills. Must work well with short deadlines. Must work well independently and in collaboration with others.
Monday through Friday with hours between 7 am and 5 pm. Slight schedule variations will occur to accomodate various meetings and need for office coverage.
