Job Description
The Compliance Manager shall be responsible for the implementation of a Compliance Management System; oversight of Regulatory Compliance activities incident to the workings of each department in the company; consultation with department heads as requested regarding compliance issue needing attention; the development and maintenance of a library of compliance resource materials; assistance with the development and implementation of Regulatory Compliance Training programs for staff; the monitoring or legislative and administrative developments relating to the foregoing; preparation of periodic reports for senior management and/or Board of Directors.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelors Degree required; J.D. a plus.
Experience: A minimum of five (5) years finance company or bank experience preferred.
Requirements : Ability to regularly work in excess of 40 hours per week.

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
Ability to understand and clearly communicate complex compliance issues to management and staff in a concise manner.
Ability to coordinate with external auditors and/or regulatory examiners regarding compliance issues.
A need for basic computer knowledge (MS word, excel) including data entry procedures.
Ability to reference and utilize documentation, through use of company software.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Demonstrate excellent follow up skills and organized characteristics with the ability to meet deadlines.
Solid sense of working as a part of a team for the benefit of the company as a whole. Demonstrate keen sense the larger focus of what the company is about with all departments working together to service the customer base.
Additional Information
Position Outline : Part-time: (30-35 hours per week)
Day hours 8:30AM TO 5PM with definite 2 evening shifts & alternating weekend hours.
