Provides "expert" technical support for company products and technical integration (i.e. gateways to 3rd party systems) to district operations. Delivers integrated solutions training and technical support for field technicians. Provides on-site technical troubleshooting for resolution of customer issues. Provides technical support to field technicians on company products. Diagnoses and resolves technical problems on jobs and provides appropriate reports to management. Works with other District Technical Specialists to develop and share technical solutions. Coordinates installations and/or product upgrades with the customers IT Department. Troubleshoots any network , software, and/or hosted system malfunctions. Reviews new technical documentation and provides communications and training to field technicians. Mentors field technicians on company systems and service products. Provides technical sales assistance and support on new company products. Performs product demonstrations and communicates design strategies to district sales executives. Participates in advisory teams for new product releases, project slates, and technical training development. Maintains technical expertise on all new products, tools, and gateways through continuing education initiatives. BS/BA in related discipline, or advanced degree, where required, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Certification may be required in some areas. Demonstrates and applies a broad knowledge of field of specialization through successful completion of moderately complex assignments. Successfully applies complex knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of particular area of specialization. Demonstrates knowledge of organization's business practices and issues.
Typically 5-8 years of successful experience in related field and successful demonstration of Key Responsibilities and Knowledge as presented above. Advanced degree MAY be substituted for experience, where applicable.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for conducting company product training courses to district field technicians.
