Summary of Position This position will provide executive level administrative management support to a Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Senior Leadership, Execution and Functional Management organization. The objectives under this task order are to provide strategic communications, and organizational integration support to Agency senior leadership and functional management. Employee will work independently with little or no direct supervision and exhibit a high level of professionalism and confidentiality in interacting with executive level staff and personnel in a fast-paced environment.General Duties and Responsibilities Review and align agency documentation, e.g. budgets, guidance, testimony and correspondence with agency vision, mission goals and objectives. Analyze the agency strategy, goals and objectives annually and provide recommendations for updates to the Agency Vision, Mission and Strategic Goals. Support the organization executive leaders in their preparation for briefings to the National Command Authority, the Department of Defense, and International agencies. Assist in preparation of correspondence, briefings and other presentations for both, including but not limited to, information papers, decision memoranda, speeches, remarks, talking points, opinion articles, Program Execution Reviews, Budget Execution Reviews, Organization Reviews, Program Reviews, and Staffer Day Briefs ensuring proper intra and inter-agency coordination and consistency of message (includes obtaining foreign disclosure and public release approvals). Coordinate the documents with applicable Program Director's/Functional Manager's and resolve comment and/or issues. Coordinate media support including production control, executive editing, graphics, and distribution. Requirements 8 (+) years of previous applicable experience. Bachelors Degree (BA / BS) or equivalent work experience Experience leading/supporting results-oriented, deadline-driven, dynamic, and diverse DoD team environments. The ability to advise, recommend and assist without having decision authority. Experience in gathering program data / status inputs from product offices and formulating summary level reports (i.e., Scheduling, Engineering, Programmatic and Test). Excellent writing skills Excellent skills in preparing PowerPoint presentations. High level of expertise using Excel Excellent interpersonal / team communication skills. High-level organizational / leadership skills. Excellent attention to detail and follow up skills Experience working in the Missile Defense Agency is highly desired. Must be comfortable interacting with senior military and civilian personnel. Must be able to obtain an Interim DoD security clearance upon hire date.
