Galleria area branch of Nations Reliable Lending is seeking energetic, self-starting, customer-focused Loan Officers to fill positions in our Houston office. Strong drive, determination, passion, sales experience and closing skills will help you handle 50+ calls per day and earn highest compensation levels.
In-Office LOs will be given all the leads they can handle, but will be encouraged to also explore self-sourced business. Remote LOs are also invited to apply if they bring their own referral base.
Lender offers vast marketing support by sponsoring large-scale, high-profile organizations and events. Also provide Real-time and exclusive leads via Lending Tree plus 15 other sources. 10-20k mailers sent out monthly, with very high-tech personalization to reflect the clients’ situation, linked to the web application.
Nations does TV and newspaper advertising, and SEO/Internet ads (at top of Google).
They are a direct lender with aggressive rates, pay, and products.
Select and link to your own chosen url; company links to fully integrated website linked to their system with a live credit app. A dialer is linked to the contact form on the website, routed directly to you.

The average LO will make bet $75k -$200k and can do 3-10 loans a month with ease.
Nations pays a base salary as a draw against commission. Pay is bi-weekly on funded volume. Comp is 100-200 bps based on tiered volume structure. They have full benefits, and 401k eligibility is after 1st year.
Among their products they offer 560+ FHA , DU and LP direct, HARP, Streamline, jumbo, reverse, and construction loans, all in-house, no broker!!
They have a current 12 hr uw turn, avg usually 24 hrs. They have very helpful underwriters that go the extra mile to get the loan done. They are running a 10 day app to close currently, with an avg 16 days for purchase and refi. Processing has 24 hr turn, disclosures have 24 hr turn - all e-disclosure, both fha and conventional. Closing is 5 hrs with a 24hr gty. Ops runs an EOM crunch and will work with any LO 24 hours to get the loans done. Corporate is in Houston. This branch is expanding and geared up to cover the increased volume. Strong warehouse capacity of over $100MM. Everyone is aggressive. The BM is fixed on making money. If you aren’t able to bag loans, he isn’t going to make any money, so he believes in incentivizing and optimizing operations so that you can win as many loans as possible, close as many loans as possible, and make as much money as possible – for you and ultimately for the branch.

Essential Accountabilities:
Promote loans through Nations Reliable Lending affiliates
Develop relationships with borrowers promoting business
Promote ancillary products as presented by Nations Reliable Lending
Interview and pre-qualify prospective borrowers
Comply with all disclosure requirements and timeframe expectations
Advise borrowers of lock-in policy's ensuring accuracy
Inform borrowers and parties of loan product and options available
Maintain all licensing requirements including continuing education
Review new loan guidelines, programs, disclosure updates and changes
Assist operations personnel in processing and closing loans.
Position Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent, college degree preferred. TX NMLS license.
Work Experience:
Detail oriented with a strong work ethic
Professional customer service skills and strong integrity
Computer literate with demonstrated PC skills
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Excellent math, analytical and time management skills
YOU MUST HAVE AN NMLS LICENSE TO WORK HERE
Technical Competencies:
