Sullivan College of Technology and Design in seeking a full-time Business Office Manager. The Business Office Manager is responsible for monitoring student accounts to ensure timely payment to the college and assures that college policies and procedures for accounts receivable are followed. The position requires close coordination with Financial Planning and Academic Directors.

Job Functions
·
Makes bank deposits on a daily basis and reconciles statements.
·
Completes billing and invoicing to students and/or third parties as determined in the students’
·
financial plan.
·
Maintains the tracking of payments and balances owed to prevent delinquent payments.
·
Aggressively pursue active accounts that have become delinquent in payment.
·
Audits student accounts in coordination with the Registrar’s office to assure accuracy of re-
·
entering student accounts.
·
Collects, receipts, and deposits funds and ensures corporate accounting receives this data in an
·
accurate and timely manner.
·
Provides the necessary financial information required by third parties.
·
Assists in coordination of bookstore accounts.
·
Identifies problems in the process, works toward resolution, composes and implements new
·
procedures when necessary.
·
Makes change for bookstore, petty cash accounts, and others as needed.
·
Performs other duties assigned.
Requirements
·
Minimum of an Associate degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance.
·
Two years related work experience.
·
An equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered.
·
Excellent writing, oral communication, multi-tasking, organizational and interpersonal skills
·
necessary.
·
Proficient bookkeeping and financial analysis skills.
·
Knowledge of Campus Vue system.
·
Proficient computer skills with specific emphasis on MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook.
·
Ability to maintain concentration and attention to detail while working for extended periods of
·
time.
·
Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.
·
Must be able to hear and speak well enough to communicate with students, faculty, and staff
·
face to face and via the telephone.
