Provide assistance to research faculty and staff in conducting water quality studies. Duties include (i) reviewing and assembling water quality datasets, (ii) assisting in computations for data analysis, and (iii) preparing assigned sections of draft reports for use by research faculty in meeting project objectives.

Required Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree in civil and environmental engineering, a physical science, or a related field, or equivalent training and experience.
•Experience and demonstrated working knowledge of water chemistry, hydrology/open channel hydraulics, and aquatic ecology;
•Experience and demonstrated working knowledge of stormwater treatment systems;
•Windows OS computer proficiency, with a specific requirement for a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
•Working knowledge of parametric and non-parametric statistics;
•Demonstrated skill in assembling scientific datasets and drafting reports

Preferred Qualifications:
•Graduate coursework in environmental engineering, a physical science, or a related field;
•Working knowledge of statistical methods for analyzing censored datasets
•Working knowledge of MathCad
•Working knowledge of R, including scripting and plotting data
