Full time Acute Care Pharmacist to provide 10 hour night shift coverage in rotation of seven nights on and seven nights off. Under general supervision, provides prescribed medications, drugs and other pharmaceuticals as needed for adequate inpatient/outpatient care according to professional standards and regulatory requirements. Provides clinical pharmacy services as required on the night shift in addition to providing drug information to patients and healthcare workers, according to professional standards. Acts as a consultant for adverse drug reactions. Provides oversight of technical staff.
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. Experience: Typically, one year PGY1 residency or equivalent experience. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: In depth knowledge of current evidence based practice, drug information and interactions. Strong communication and active listening skills, and a desire to help others. Ability to work independently and in a team based setting. Ability to be conscientious and pay close attention to detail. Certifications and Licenses: Licensed by the State of Colorado Board of Pharmacy Registration at the time of hire. All Certifications and Licenses required for this job must be kept current as a condition of continued employment.
