We are seeking a Production Supervisor with strong machining, prefab, welding and leadership skills to join our team at our Beloit, Kansas location. Our Beloit location manufactures the AGCO Corporation Sunflower brand. Sunflower is recognized around the world as a producer and marketer of top quality products, including primary tillage tools, soil conditioners, land finishers, chisels, field cultivators, disc harrows, grain carts and more. The expertise in the Sunflower production facilities is utilized by AGCO to incorporate specific manufacturing operations into other AGCO factories worldwide.

As a Production Supervisor, you supervise and coordinate activities of workers engaged in production of parts to ensure production schedules are met.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
* Coordinate machine repairs with the maintenance department.
*Maintain appropriate material inventory.
*Verify and distribute prints and shop orders.
*Conduct first-part checks.
*Processes department paperwork.
*Select and assign leads to train new employees for Pre-Fab and Machine Shop departments.
*Supervise up to 30 employees.
*Enforce a culture of safety first.
*Attends daily foreman's meeting.
*Plan, assign, and direct work activities
*Reward and discipline employees.
*Addresses complaints and resolves problems within the department.

Qualifications :
*Minimum lifting requirement of 50 pounds.
*Previous Management experience is required.
*One year of experience working in a Pre Fab/Machine Shop department.
*Working experience with department equipment and processes.
*Can safely operate forklift.
*MS Office skills required.
*Strong verbal and written communication skills.
*Knowledge and understanding of blueprints.

Education :
A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.

Work Environment :
Supervisor has access to all areas of manufacturing and is exposed to dirt,
constant factory noise, smoke, temperature extremes, electrical machinery,
hoists, and the driven path of forklifts and handcarts. Personal safety gear
is required.
