Job Description:
Lead, plan, coordinate, direct and design all IT-related activities for the Company.

Lead the IT department’s operational and strategic planning, including fostering innovation, organizing and planning projects and negotiating the allocation of resources

Develop and implement all IT policies and procedures, including those for architecture, security, disaster recovery, standards, purchasing and service provision

Benchmark, analyze, and make recommendations for the improvement and growth of the IT infrastructure and IT systems

Direct and manage a team of managers and professionals to include staffing, training and development, performance management, etc.

Identify and oversee implementation of end-user device standards companywide.

Design and deploy systems that support LGS corporate functions using mobility solutions.

Maintain knowledge of developments in the area of systems and hardware to assure that new developments are incorporated in future systems of the Company

Collaborate with stakeholders to define business and systems requirements for new technology implementations

Administer and control the IT expense budget to contribute to a cost effective operation

Develop business case justifications and cost/benefit analyses for IT spending and initiatives

Manage the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, update and support of all IT systems, including telecommunications, servers, PCs operating systems, hardware, software, peripherals and office automation equipment

Negotiate and administer vendor, outsourcer and consultant contracts and service agreements.

Oversee provision of end-user services, including help desk and technical support services

Establish and maintain regular interdepartmental communications with Sr. Leaders, department heads, and end-users regarding pertinent IT activities

Develop and manage the LGS-IT service catalog

Establish service-level agreements with LGS business leaders for the delivery of IT services.

Support LGS Marketing efforts by speaking at industry events on topics related to LGS-IT projects, strategy and programs.

Travel to other LGS Locations or Customer Sites as necessary

Understand and adhere to all LGS Ethical and Compliance policies

Proactively ensure a safe work environment and adhere to LGS EH&S policies and procedures

Perform other duties as required

Obtain/retain a government security clearance at the level to perform the job

Required Skills:
Minimum 15 + years related experience

Knowledge of Microsoft software applications and other software applications as required

Experience with designing , integrating and implementing cloud-based architectures

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft, and Oracle enterprise and server operation systems.

Comprehensive knowledge of information systems technology and extensive knowledge of hardware and software, with the ability to keep abreast of new technologies

Experience managing and leading high performance work teams

Demonstrated experience working in a team oriented, collaborative environment and being a liaison with Sr. Leaders

Working knowledge of telecommunications, network and PC operating systems

Strong technical knowledge of current network hardware, protocols and standards

Extensive server and desktop application support experience

Demonstrated experience in IT infrastructure planning and development

Ability to present ideas in a business friendly and user-friendly language

Proven analytical, evaluative and problem-solving abilities

Exceptional customer service orientation

Special Knowledge / Certifications:
IMTL, desired

Experience with FISMA standards
