RF/Analog & DSP Systems Engineer
Job Description: RF Engineers are responsible for RF topology selection and design, RF system analysis, RF system block characterization and specification. In addition, RF engineers operate radio frequency test equipment and are responsible for the design of RF circuits per specifications, simulations and analysis of RF circuits, understanding of analog circuits, characterization of board of chip layout requirements.
PhD or MS degree in Electrical Engineering with 7 years of relevant experience.
Solid understanding of communications and cellular systems
Working knowledge of RF/mixed-signal/analog circuits
Proficient in spreadsheet analysis, Matlab programming and Simulink
Experience with analog and digital filter design
Strong written and verbal communication
Familiarity with System C and system-level modeling
Experience in transceiver development for 3GPP standards
Understanding of fading and propagation, or later 1 LTE processing
Familiarity with antennas and mobile phone development
Experience with ADS, ADS Ptolemy
