The National Sales Promotion Coordinator is responsible to competently and professionally support the goals of the National Sales Department in the creation, execution and follow-up of revenue based campaigns, services and events.

Tasks/Responsibilities:
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
  • Must have strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret verbal and written requests and directions.
  • Must have the ability to create proposals and other written documentation clearly and concisely for clients.
  • Integrity in dealing with confidential matters, clients and competitors.
  • Must maintain poise and composure in times of stress, operates at a rapid pace.
  • Organizes and coordinates tasks to completion; brings appropriate focus to accomplished tasks; puts in the necessary effort to ensure job gets done on time.
  • Position will include but not limited to brainstorming, creation and execution of National promotional requests.
  • Coordinate receipt of copy, web materials (copy, logos, links), prizing
  • Ensure proper delivery of above materials to appropriate person(s) at each station
  • Attend weekly promotions meetings as needed
  • Secure prize inventory and distribute to partner stations
  • Troubleshoot any promotional complications with talent, contests, prizing, etc
  • Proven ability to create PowerPoint proposals in a timely fashion.
  • Individual will be required to work with internal departments to create and execute ideas.
  • Must communicate to national sales arm and clients in a clear and concise fashion.
  • Serve as a resource of National Sales Director and Director of Sales in any aspect required/requested
  • The individual in this position will be the backup sales assistant in the national team.
Required Skills
  • Preferred one (1) year experience radio and/or media sales or administrative experience
  • Applicants must possess a strong work ethic, well organized, punctual, and a team player
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft software applications (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint).
  • Must be highly self-motivated and be able to work well without supervision and demonstrate daily follow through skills
  • Complete assignments with accuracy and limited supervision
  • Quickly and willingly adapt and overcome obstacles while attacking projects with an upbeat approach
  • Must be detail oriented
  • Able to multi-task
