Summary of Position with General Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for the design, development, and execution of site architecture and navigation including redesigns and upgrades. This position will also need to collaborate with creative staff on design and layout issues to facilitate web publishing, mobile device experience, content management system, ensure site is optimized and is cross-platform and cross-browser compatible.

Working in collaboration with the Marketing Services, Product Marketing and IT Departments, this position will play an integral role in managing and developing meaningful content for a variety of Bard web based marketing tools.

Essential Job Functions:
  • Monitoring/managing content for multiple websites to ensure the presentations ar e current and vital
  • P rovide support for all company web marketing needs
  • Conceptualize, design and produce exciting marketing content
  • Achieve optimum ROI
  • Collect and analysis reporting data
  • H andling other related functions as necessary
Basic Qualifications:
JavaScript, HTML coding, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Paint Shop Pro, Visual Basic.net (iPAD) as well as knowledge of Flash, XML-based web applications and programming, XHTML programming, CMS and other web development languages and technologies. A thorough knowledge of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) techniques. The designer should also be comfortable working with a variety of operating systems such as Windows, Macintosh, and UNIX. Since computer technology changes rapidly, web designers must constantly stay abreast of new developments in graphics software packages as well as those in the World Wide Web and related technologies.

The candidate will have a solid background working with websites/website content, and strong computer skills that include a working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) Mac Platform, PowerPoint and Office. Ability to conceptualize and produce marketing material for a variety of media, along with superior oral/written communication, organizational and multi-tasking skills will be expected.

Education and/or Experience:
3+ years of experience
Web master degree in computer science and a software engineering degree preferred.

Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit and use hands to manipulate, handle or feel objects, tools, controls and office equipment. The employee frequently is required to talk and hear.The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel or crouch.
