Job Description:
The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for overseeing the Quality Process in the Alpharetta and Ellaville, GA locations.
Reports to: General Manager
Responsibilities:
Investigate and resolve quality issues with both customers and suppliers
Serve as the Quality “SME” (subject matter expert) for the organization
Audit production processes to ensure quality levels meet company and customer expectations
Implement programs which ensure ongoing product quality and improvement
Implement quality measure to ensure customer satisfaction
Oversee, maintain, audit and improve the company's ISO 9001:2000 program
Coordinates and administers third party quality audits for ISO, inclusive of schedules, communication, reports and tracking follow-up actions
Analyze and recommend appropriate changes to ISO procedures as required to maintain compliance
Report ongoing activities to Management and keep the company’s continuous improvement efforts on track
Oversee and champion the corrective action system
Maintain the corrective/preventive action program, inclusive of tracking the status of open actions, receiving and reviewing responses, working with departments for timely completion and periodic reports and metrics
Provide monthly reports on problem areas (Pareto, Trend, and other methods) to senior management
Work with Engineering, Production and Materials groups to help improve their processes
Participate in product design/development quality related activities

Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in a Business, Engineering or QA discipline or equivalent
7–10 Years Experience in a Senior Quality Management Role
3+ years experience in company-wide ISO 9000 leadership role
Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate to all levels of the company
Proficient in data collection, analysis, and presentations
Excellent computer skills and proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Access and the Internet
Preferred:
Certified by ASQ (American Society for Quality) as a CQE/CQM
Black Belt Certification
Experience with development/implementation of a supplier qualification program
Experience implementing problem tracking/resolution system
