The Executive Director, Cardiovascular is responsible for the overall growth and development of the service line and its associated clinical programs including the development and execution of the annual operating plan.
Required: Masters Degree
Specify Degree(s): MSN, MBA or MHA or other related degree
Required: 10+ years of previous job-related experience
Managerial Experience: 5+ years
Collaborates with clinical leadership, clinical department management, inpatient, outpatient, homecare and other clinical operational leaders to optimize the continuum of care for patients and families who receive care from the clinical program. As Service Line Leader and through collaboration with the service line management team and interdepartmental teams, develops plans and proposals to expand service line and its associated Clinical Programs within LUHS. Ensures ongoing and continuous compliance with TJC, IDPH and other regulatory agencies. Works with local and national organizations to explore and analyze business trends for growth and affiliation opportunities for the Health System in Service Line or associated clinical programs. Collaborates with Network Development Team and partner organizations to establish, expand and deliver clinical affiliate program in order to achieve clinical, financial, patient experience and strategic goals.
