Actively manage a blended environment of outbound and inbound calls to complete applications initiated via the internet and maximize potential sales opportunities on both inbound and outbound calls. Take ownership of each call to enhance the customer experience, build relationships and increase the Santander wallet share per customer (products per customer). Demonstrate an extensive knowledge of Santander Product and services to facilitate consultative selling skills based on profiling of the customers needs and recommending which products/services will best suit the customer. Consistently adhere to bank policies and procedures, code of ethics and all Federal, State and local laws.
Complete detailed research for any red flag applications to ensure mitigation of risk.
Follow up with customers to ensure signature card is signed and returned within 45 days in order to remain in compliance with CIP regulations.
Answer inbound sales/service related calls
Assist with New Hire transition by serving as a ¿buddy¿ to New Hires prior to them taking calls. Ability to explain sales process in between calls and provide tips to new hires during this nesting period.
Cross sell additional products and services beyond the original requested product to increase customers wallet share.
Make outbound calls to customers who have applied via the internet for new accounts to complete the application process.
Update Application database completely and accurately with call results, application details and application status.
Bachelors degree in relevant field or equivalent work experience.
Five years or more sales experience
Experience in the Financial Industry preferred but not required
Ability to make decisions and justify results.
