Zoosk is looking for an experienced Corporate IT Systems Administrator to help our growing team.
The ideal candidate will be someone with 5-10 years experience as a Corporate IT Systems Administrator, highly motivated, trustworthy, and has high business acumen. The candidate should be adept at applying corporate and departmental strategic visions to directionally correct activities. We are a fast moving company with a very dynamic corporate IT department, the ideal candidate is someone who is not afraid to help in all areas of IT, and when an issue occurs, understands how to use the tools available to come up with solutions.
Your primary focus will be on networking (configuring/troubleshooting), as well as server support, but in your day to you will interact with all aspects of IT. From configuring VPN access on the ASA, to researching a network based imaging solution for desktop support.
Must be able to work on projects nearly autonomously, must be a self-starter with the ability to manage projects with periodic status reporting.
Understands the importance of defining and implementing policies pertaining to systems administration.
Be responsible for tracking and reporting progress as required by management.
Initiate repair assistance requests to vendors when problems cannot be resolved internally.
Provides first-level and second-level support and troubleshoots issues, this includes the effective use of available tools and processes to efficiently and promptly respond to end user requests.
Provide 24x7 on-call troubleshooting and problem resolution.
Create and maintain detailed documentation and technical drawings.

Virtualization (VMWare/Hpyer-V)
Google Apps Administration: Gmail, Google Talk, Google Calendar,
Data Storage (SAN/NAS)
Supporting a MacOS/Windows end user environment
Hardware/Software Raids
