3D Digital Artist •

Working under the direction of the Design Manager and Creative Director, you will create realistic product renders and other 3D design assets to help communicate the brand strategy. •
Co-ordinate with the product engineers to ensure the timely delivery of finalised 3D CAD files and the conversion to polygon based geometry. •
Work closely with designers to determine design intent and creatively solve visual and technical challenges using the 3D toolset. •
Manage the timelines of the projects assigned to you. •
Maintain a consistently high level of quality, thoroughness and attention to detail. •
Effectively communicate all project related progress/issues or concerns to the Design Manager and to Project Management in a timely and professional manner. •
Solicit creative direction from the Design Manager and Creative Director in a timely manner. •
Assist Art Director and Brand Management where required by supplying 3D models and renders for decal development, commercials, sizzles, web/game development, creative boards and layout presentations for new and existing business developments. •
Maintain knowledge of new technologies within your area of expertise

Required Experience and Skills •

Minimum 2 years in the 3D computer graphics industry; product visualization preferred. •
Heightened creative and technical abilities including conceptual drawing, polygon 3D modeling, realistic texture creation, lighting and rendering techniques. •
Advanced knowledge of 3Ds Max, Mental Ray, Mudbox, Photoshop and Illustrator. (or equivalent 3D and 2D programs), knowledge of Maya a plus. •
Experience with SolidWorks and CAD conversion techniques are a plus. •
A strong sense of form, colour, realistic lighting and image composition. •
Strong interpersonal skills. •
Good time management skills. •
Ability to adhere to project budgets and deadlines. •
Proven ability to work in a high volume, innovative, and entrepreneurial environment. •
BA/BS or equivalent diploma in computer visualization or computer animation; or 4 or more years related experience and / or training.
