MarketStar currently has opportunities available on both the East and West coast for Regional Managers who will direct and coordinate all area activities for the assigned region as well as ensure that personnel are adequately trained on products and programs, and are efficient and effective. The Regional Manager is also responsible for client relations, programs and event management.
Manage territory by working with account management, client representatives and other resources in planning, developing and administering effective marketing strategies, solutions, and polices consistent with established company-wide goals and initiativesÂ
Oversee territory management in a specific geographic area through directing, controlling and supervising field/market managers in assigned territoryÂ
Establish and maintain professional business relationships with various client business units and channelsÂ
Administration of MarketStar programs, policies, practices and initiativesÂ
Related duties as required and/or assigned
Bachelor's degree in marketing or business management or closely related business field is preferredÂ
Four or more year's professional level sales experience, preference will be given for experience in the consumer electronics industry.Â
Three or more years supervisory experience required, preference will be given for management experience in a big box consumer electronics environmentÂ
Able to demonstrate effective team managementÂ
Track record of performance management and human resource managementÂ
Experience in developing and carrying out business plansÂ
Strong analytical skillsÂ
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skillsÂ
Able to interact at all levels of businessÂ
Able to manage and coordinate projectsÂ
Strong skill sets with Word, Excel and PowerPoint
